Overview
Cardicure is a comprehensive website developed for a cardiac clinic/hospital based in the UK. This project features an extensive backend patient portal where patients can create accounts, book appointments, and upload their medical reports. Doctors can access their profiles to view patient appointments, confirm or cancel appointments, and review uploaded reports. The admin panel allows for managing doctors, who are featured on the site with their profiles.
Challenges
The primary challenge in developing Cardicure was managing the data flow and interactions between doctors and patients, especially handling appointments and medical reports in real-time. Ensuring a seamless experience for booking, confirming, and canceling appointments while maintaining data integrity and accessibility for all users required meticulous planning and robust backend development.
Results/Conclusion:
Completing the Cardicure project has significantly enhanced my capabilities in both frontend and backend development. This project demonstrates my ability to create functional, user-friendly web solutions that cater to complex requirements. Successfully managing the intricate relationships and interactions between doctors, patients, and administrators has equipped me with the skills to handle any kind of backend development, further solidifying my expertise as a full stack web developer.
